Meet Eva!
Founder & Lead Trainer at Peace Tree K9
Eva’s love for dogs began at age 6 with her first pup, Gigi, a German Shepherd-Husky mix, sparking a lifelong passion for animals. Over the years, she’s trained and competed with dogs, including placing 3rd in obedience at the Ohio State Fair. Eva’s experience extends beyond training—she was a member of the Ohio K9 Search and Rescue Team, working with her German Shepherd, Roselyn, and Weimaraner, Merlin.
With over 35 years of experience, Eva is dedicated to building strong, loving connections between dogs and their owners. Her background includes serving as a police officer with the South Charleston and South Vienna Police Departments, as well as a fraud investigator with Clark County Job and Family Services. These roles taught Eva the value of patience, discipline, and clear communication—skills she brings into her dog training.
